A Brief Look At Trinity Lutheran School

Trinity Lutheran School is located in the city of Mobile, Alabama in the small community of Trinity Gardens with an approximate population of 6,000 residents. The school and church reside at the corner of Berkley Avenue and Main Street.

Trinity Lutheran is a beacon in the community sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many children, parents, and members of the community since 1951.

The education in a Lutheran school is different from a public school education. Learning is very important in our various subjects, but the most important part is learning about Jesus Christ and to know that He died for our salvation. And one day we may dwell with Him if we believe in His Word.

Trinity Lutheran School shares the Word of God to our students, making them disciples for Jesus Christ. Trinity Lutheran makes sure that parents understand that we are a Christian School where Jesus is taught along with the academics. At Trinity, the best education for your children is provided by caring and certified teachers.

Trinity Lutheran School is the last school out of the 39 schools started in the Black Belt from the spread of the Lutheran church in Alabama by our leader, Dr. Rosa Young – a very dedicated servant of God.



Trinity Lutheran School is constantly making a difference in our community and the world. In the last decade many things have been accomplished. Trinity has a library, connected with the Mobile Public Library System, that cost more than $100,000 to serve the students in the school and community. We have a reading program that (with help from a grant supported by the state of Alabama) has helped our children soar to the top. We have also added a mobile computer lab that students and teachers work with to enhance all subjects taught at Trinity. More recently, we have integrated Smart Board Technology into our classrooms. We keep our class sizes small, because we believe that each student needs one-on-one time with their teacher to enhance their learning experience. Technology is also available in our computer lab for our teachers and students in order to boost their daily learning and instruction.
